spiedini di pollo

Pollo molto crunchy, pollo molto buono!

vai subito agli ingredienti

Allora la mangiamo un po’ di carne? No?

Note

Crunchy chicken = Yummy chicken
What do you think about eating some meat? No? But how can you resist these kebabs: golden titbits perfect for children, to eat with their hands, to tear with their teeth, to enjoy since the last crumb, like little savages (for the mothers that try to teach their children sedate behavior at table, don’t be angry! The next recipe will be better)! My children found them ready at home, yes, the beauty of this dish is that you can eat it cold or warm, so washed their hands (always remember it, especially these days!) they have rushed to snap at those sticks so appetizing. Maybe because they were hungry or because they were happy for this new dish, they ate the salad too, that I timidly served for lunch; raw spinach, grated carrots and sweet corn (I put in the photo later, sorry but I forgot it), I couldn’t believe it. That’s the beauty of our children, one day they eat “green things”, the other one they flung them in the face; do not worry, it happens to everyone’s home, but at the end we will win… “corporation of persevering mothers” , forward!
Ingredients for about 6/7 kebabs: 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of sweet mustard, toasted maize flour, a small packet of crisps (yes, really those), salt, skewers of wood, raw spinach, carrots and sweet corn for the salad. So, the recipe is curious but very, very simple. Cut the meat into small cubes. Mix the mayonnaise with the mustard in a bowl, add the meat and, if you can, leave it to flavour for half an hour (but it’s also ok if you proceed directly to the second step).
Crumble two handfuls of crisps, put in a plate as much toasted maize flour as you need and flour the little cubes of meat in this breading (if you need you can prepare more). Thread the little cubes in the skewers, oil just a little a sheet of baking paper, put on the kebabs and bake them for about 15 minutes under the grill turning them once. Even the child who does not eat meat, I think, could smack his lips and try, just this time, the pleasure of this new taste. Oh, I forgot the spinach salad with carrots and sweet corn, it’s the icing on the cake, try you too, you never know!
